Refund Policy

Cancellation/Refund Policy 

To effectively manage our waiting list and available time slots, the following policy applies:

 

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling: Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel a session. Cancellations made after this time will be charged at the full rate, unless the session is rescheduled by agreement with the tutor (prior to the lesson start time).  Please note that this may not always be possible.
     

  • Short-Notice Cancellations: We understand that unavoidable circumstances (e.g. illness) may occasionally require a last-minute cancellation. A "make-up" credit will be issued to reschedule the session, valid for 15 days. It is the responsibility of the student/parent to reschedule the session before the expiry date.  Please contact the tutor to find a suitable date and note that this may not always be possible.  An alternative is finding someone to take your session time for that date.  Please notify the tutor with the name of the student who will be coming in place. 
     

  • Tutor Cancellations: We will make every effort to provide adequate notice and reschedule if a session needs to be cancelled. In extenuating circumstances, such as illness, we will work with you to find a suitable alternative. If no alternative can be found, a refund will be issued for the missed session.
     

  • Attendance & Punctuality: Once sessions are booked, it is the student’s or parent’s responsibility to ensure attendance and punctuality for the lesson.  Please do not show up more than 2-3 minutes before your session time as this distracts the current student who is having a session.  If the student shows up late, the session will still end on time and the full session fee will apply.

 

  • Ending Tuition: If you decide to stop tuition, please provide at least two weeks’ notice.
